XANO acquires the service company Veldkamp
XANO has acquired the Dutch service company Veldkamp, which will become part of the Industrial Solutions business unit. The acquisition strengthens XANO’s service and aftermarket offering, with a strong focus on optimisation and lifecycle support for production lines in the packaging and food industries.
XANO has, through a subsidiary, acquired the Dutch service company Veldkamp, based in Raalte. Veldkamp will become part of XANO’s Industrial Solutions business unit.
Veldkamp is a technical full-service provider operating within the packaging, manufacturing, food and pharmaceutical sectors. The company specialises in the design, construction and optimisation of production lines, with a strong emphasis on service and aftermarket solutions throughout the equipment lifecycle.
The operations are organised into two complementary areas. The project division includes machine design, refurbishment, overhauls and machine relocations. The technical support division provides a broad range of services, including maintenance and repairs, machine monitoring, rental of technical specialists and the supply of customised components. Together, these offerings support customers in improving uptime, efficiency and the lifetime performance of existing production assets.
The Veldkamp Group has approximately 60 employees and annual net sales of around EUR 10 million, with good profitability. The company will further strengthen Industrial Solutions’ market position, particularly within the packaging and food industries and in the canning segment.
The acquisition is aligned with the business unit’s strategy to grow through service-oriented and value-creating business models, where long-term customer relationships, resource efficiency and continuous improvement are central. At the same time, Veldkamp will benefit from favourable conditions to further develop its specialist capabilities within XANO’s decentralised structure.
